Nate Cole and I started this album as a quarantine project back in March, passing files back and forth as a way to stay inspired and connected in the midst of chaos and isolation. The title of the album is derived from the idea that civilization began with the recognition that we have the ability to repair broken bones, and it’s the responsibility of the community to guard the healing process rather than leave the injured to the will of the wild. We can rebuild ourselves together.
